How do I make an appointment?
We are a collective of practitioners with a range specialties - please look at 'Our Team' page and browse through the profiles of our practitioners. Contact your selected therapist directly to check their current availability and arrange an initial consultation. Alternatively, you can use the our 'Therapist Matching Service' where we will assist you in finding a therapist for your specific needs.
Do you offer free initial consultations or 'discovery calls'?
We are increasingly being asked for intro chats, ‘discovery calls' or free initial consultations. To be clear, we do not offer free initial consultations or intro sessions. Any session booked either online or in person is charged at the therapist's standard fee.
Some of our therapists do offer a brief phone or zoom call, lasting around 15 minutes, while some therapists prefer the initial dialogue to be within the framework of an actual session. This is a matter of personal discretion for each therapist.
How much does it cost?
Fees range between £100 to £180. You can find each practitioner's fees listed in their profile.
Discretionary reductions are available by negotiation and most therapists offer concession fees for students, or those on low income/benefits.
Payment for the first session is usually required before the session and you can discuss with your therapist how to pay for ongoing sessions.
Invoices / receipts can be supplied on request.
How many sessions do I need?
This will depend on the nature of the work and can be discussed in an initial consultation (the first session) - some practitioners work on a short-term basis and others have an open ended approach.
Ongoing weekly sessions are 50 minutes. Some practitioners offer a 75 to 90 minute initial consultation.
Cancellation Policy
It is standard practice for therapists to charge for cancellations or missed sessions. The therapists working at ELRT will inform you of their cancellation policy during your initial consultation.
